About Us

Our mission is to prevent the future demise of our food source by introducing others to the importance of Bees.  Our loyalty and respect for the hive are for their future survival and ours.  To preserve, maintain happy, healthy bees and colonies.

What Separates Us from the Rest?

Queen Bee and Me is not a large operation.  However, we do largely in whatever we pursue.  One of a few businesses, who in addition to caring for bee colonies have an extraction facility available for other beekeepers.

About Nola Klink

My journey keeping beehives began eight years ago in February of 2010.  I attended area beekeeping club meetings with mentor friend, Gary.  He told me “you just have to get started.”  So he got me started, and I haven’t stopped since.

Associations

After taking a beginner beekeeping class and becoming certified as a beginner with SEMBA (Southeastern Michigan Bee Association), I continued into the intermediate class.

This led to assisting my professor instructor, Meghan Milbrath Ph.D., with her beginning and advanced bee courses at Matthaiu Botanical Gardens in Ann Arbor, MI.  The education has been enormous and invaluable.
